Sleeping in a tree tent, which hangs approx. 1 meter above the ground, is a new and exciting way to experience the Swedish nature with the family. The place is perfect for a family adventure, as it is both fun and educational. You not only get a memorable time together, but also have the opportunity to learn more about cooking over an open fire, as you light the fire and cook the food together.

You and your family get a personal welcome!

When you arrive, we will accompany you to the place where your tree tent is set up between three trees. Once there, we'll tell you about the place and what's good to know before a nighttime adventure.

All is prepared for your arrival.

We have prepared your floating tent with sleeping bags, sleeping pads and comfortable pillows. Right next to it, we have arranged seating and fire pits, the wood is prepared so you can easily light the fire together. Water, sink and soap for washing hands are always good to have, so you will also find that, at the location. When darkness falls, there are headlamps for night adventures! For extra coziness, we have set up a light string around the camp. If necessary, there is also a rain cover over the fireplace.

You have the option of choosing between living in two different beautiful places in the middle of nature! Right by lake Mjörn in Hjällsnäs or on Björsjöås Vildmark estates.

Family adventure at Hjällsnäs Cape:

The place in Hjällsnäs is more like a "wild camp". We have set up the tent right by lake Mjörn with a beautiful view. If you should be woken up by animals, are these wild and perhaps a little difficult to see. But if you are completely still, you may have the opportunity to discover a wild fox or something else exciting rustling among the leaves. If someone needs to go to the toilet, there is a cozy little "forest room" that works fine to use. In this place there are not so many visitors, maybe some guests who sleep in another tree tent, but these are set up at a safe distance so that you will not be disturbed. This adventure includes an activity where you have access to our wood-burning "sauna tent" in nature, with a nice relaxation area in the middle of nature with a view of the lake. Family adventure at Björsjöås Vildmark:

At this place you and your family live in the middle of the natural pasture among the sheep. It is not unusual to wake up to grazing sheep or perhaps they will visit you by the fireplace in the evening when you eat dinner. On the farm, a short distance from your place, there is the opportunity to meet chickens and other guests who live in the house, in cottages, mobile homes. In the summer, quite a few families with children live on the farm. In the main building, there is a water toilet and shower. As an activity at this place, the loan of a canoe, paddles and life jackets is included for an exciting paddling in Stora Björsjön. Read more about Björsjöås Vildmark here!

• Access to toilet:

• At lake Mjörn, we have set up a cozy forest toilet, safely in its own small "tent"

• At Björsjöås Vildmark you have access to a water toilet

• 2-course dinner (dinner and dessert)

• Choose between this for dinner (selected in the booking):

• 2oo grams Beef burger (local meat)

• 130 gr lamb burger (local meat)

• 150 gr Vegetarian/Vegan option

• Delicious breakfast that you prepare yourself in the morning.

• Carefully prepared firewood for cooking that you light easily yourself

• Activity:

• At Lake Mjörn, towels and access to our wood-burning "sauna tent" with a nice relaxation area in the middle of nature with a view of the lake are included. Here you have the opportunity to take a dip in the lake.

• At Björsjöås Vildmark, the loan of a canoe, paddles and a life jacket is included

Here are some tips from the “coach” what you think´is good to have on your adventure:

• Comfortable shoes "according to the weather"

• Warm underwear and comfortable socks for the night

• Clothes according to weather and season (jacket, sweater, hat, gloves, etc.)

• Favorite snacks.
